ON & IC.....Certifying to Standard...Producers, Processors, Handlers
The National Organic Program (NOP), a division of the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service, develops, implements, and administers national production, handling, and labeling standards for organic agricultural products. The NOP also accredits the certifying agents (foreign and domestic) who inspect organic production and handling operations to certify that they meet USDA standards.
Agricultural products sold, labeled or represented as organic must be produced and processed in accordance with these NOP standards for certification. As a NOP accredited certifying agent, Organic National & International Certifiers adheres to these standards when reviewing your business for organic certification.
